PLAKA
Plaka is the capital town of Milos, nested at an altitude of roughly 220 meters above sea level, on the slopes of a volcanic cliff. In Plaka you will find every modern facility; from public services, health centers and shops, to cafes, bars and restaurants.Walk along its picturesque cobblestone alleys and discover whitewashed houses with blossomed yards, little shops full of character, and the quaint church of Panagia Korfiatissa, built circa 1820.
As you reach the highest point of the town, you will come across the castle of Plаka, known as Kastro, overlooking the entire island and the uninhabited island of Antimilоs. Kastro is the perfect spot to enjoy a spectacular view of Milos, the deep blue expanse of the Aegean Sea, and the breathtaking sunset.
